Welcome to Maha Cares LLC (“Maha Cares,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our website, services, or community platforms, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Nature of Services
Maha Cares operates as an RN-led caregiver matching and information platform. We facilitate connections between families seeking non-medical support and independent caregivers.
Maha Cares does not:
• Provide caregiving services
• Employ, supervise, or manage caregivers
• Act as an employer or agent for caregivers or families
• Guarantee placement, hiring, or outcomes
All caregiving arrangements are made directly between families and caregivers.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use this website and its services. By using the site, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. Caregiver Community Access
Caregivers may join the Maha Cares community free of charge. Community participation does not guarantee job opportunities or selection by families.
4. Job Post Access Fees
• Job previews are available at no cost.
• To view full job descriptions, caregivers may purchase one-time access per job posting.
• All access fees are non-refundable once job details are unlocked.
• Fees are for information access only and are not placement, hiring, or success fees.
Payment does not guarantee contact, selection, or employment.
5. Expression of Interest
Caregivers may indicate interest in specific opportunities. Maha Cares may notify families that caregivers have expressed interest.
Families retain full discretion in selecting caregivers and determining next steps.
6. Independent Relationships
Caregivers are independent individuals. Maha Cares is not a party to any agreement between families and caregivers and assumes no responsibility for:
• Scheduling
• Compensation
• Taxes
• Work performance
• Care outcomes
7. Background Checks
Maha Cares does not conduct initial background checks.
At the request of a family, Maha Cares may facilitate optional third-party background checks:
• Basic Background Check – $100
• Comprehensive Background Check – $175
Background checks are provided for informational purposes only. Maha Cares does not certify, endorse, or guarantee caregiver suitability.
8. No Warranties
Maha Cares makes no guarantees regarding caregiver qualifications, availability, conduct, or outcomes. Services are provided “as is” and “as available.”
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maha Cares shall not be liable for:
• Injuries, damages, or losses related to caregiving services
• Disputes between families and caregivers
• Employment, tax, or legal obligations
10. Prohibited Use
Users may not:
• Misrepresent information
• Harass or discriminate against others
• Use the platform for unlawful purposes
• Attempt to bypass access fees
11. Changes to Terms
Maha Cares reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of changes.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.
