Maha Cares LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) values your trust and is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and safeguard your personal information when you use our services, including Caregiver Placement Services and SmartCare by Maha Cares (AI Monitoring Service). By using our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Information We Collect

  • We may collect personal information such as your name, address, phone number, email, date of birth, gender, demographic information, and emergency contact details.

  • We may collect health and care information including medical history, health-related details, care preferences, and service needs provided by you or an authorized representative.

  • For AI Monitoring, no audio or video is ever recorded or stored. The Sensi.ai system uses real-time sound analysis to identify potential risks such as falls, distress signals, or unusual activity, but it does not capture or retain conversations or video. Only event data and alerts are generated and transmitted.

  • We may collect financial information including billing address and payment details, which are processed through secure third-party providers.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Your information is used to provide caregiver placement and AI monitoring services, match clients with suitable caregivers, respond to inquiries and emergencies, process payments and maintain accurate records, improve and customize our services, and comply with legal or regulatory requirements.

3. How We Share Information

  • We do not sell your personal information. Information may be shared with caregivers in order to facilitate placement and care coordination. We may share with third-party service providers who support billing, monitoring devices, or technical services. We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or court order. Information may also be shared in emergencies when necessary to protect your health, safety, or the safety of others.

4. Data Security

  • We use physical, administrative, and technical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption, access controls, and secure storage. While no system is completely secure, we take reasonable steps to minimize risks.

5. Data Retention

  • Caregiver placement records are kept for as long as required by law or business necessity. AI monitoring event data is stored only as long as necessary to provide services, resolve disputes, or comply with legal obligations.

6. Your Rights

  • Depending on your location, you may have the right to access and request a copy of your information, correct or update inaccuracies, request deletion of your information subject to legal obligations, and restrict or object to certain uses of your information. To exercise these rights, you can contact us at contact@mahacares.com.

7. Children’s Privacy

  • Our services are intended for adults and caregivers. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 without parental or guardian consent.

8. Third-Party Links

  • Our website or services may include links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.

9. Changes to this Privacy Policy
